Senior Executive MBA

This is not your standard MBA program. Study the details and compare. Many degree programs deliver a typical MBA, but at Tennessee, we choose to be different. We focus on narrowly defined niche markets that can utilize our particular blend of expertise. Then we build new programs around the target audience from the ground up. We provide a classic MBA with an eye toward networking and learning experience that fits the student. Here are a few things that set this particular program apart.

A Twelve-Month Calendar

You'll start in January and end in mid-December of the same year. Count the days and compare. This is the quickest and least disruptive option you'll find for getting a MBA.

Six On-Site Residencies Complemented By Web-based Distance Learning

The six on-site residency periods entail total immersion in a broad range of active learning opportunities. The typical residency period starts on a Saturday morning and ends nine days later on Sunday afternoon. Between sessions, you'll participate in interactive web-based classes about every other Thursday night to keep up the pace of learning.

Exclusively Aerospace

If you are not committed to a career in aerospace, this is probably not the right program for you. But, if you know your future is in aerospace, why go anywhere else? Here, you'll receive tailored instruction that makes the most of your time, and you'll build a network of contacts you could never hope to replicate in the typical open-enrollment program.

Individualized Personal Development Plans

Every student completes an in-depth assessment of his or her leadership skills. You'll identify opportunities for development, and work one-on-one with a personal coach to develop and carry out your yearlong personal development plan.

An Integrated Program

In most MBA programs, students take a series of stand alone courses. In our Aerospace MBA, students don't take courses, they participate in a program. The entire year is constructed as a seamless learning opportunity. Our cross-functional design is integrated from the ground up so you don't have to fit the pieces together after the fact. Business leadership is clearly an integrated activity — shouldn't the same be true of your business education?
