Minimized Disruption And Time Away From Work
Here’s the dilemma for any company considering sending an employee off to a MBA program: If you can afford to do without them all that time, they are probably not the right person to be getting the degree!
Every company faces the same struggle. Our high-compression approach can help. We limit the program to one year, streamline it by focusing on what aerospace business leaders need to know, and cut down on travel time and total disruption by structuring the entire program around just six on-site residency periods. There is not better way of getting a degree while maintaining productivity on the job.
Industry Exposure
Here’s a great opportunity to keep your company in the mix and to stay on-pace with the latest thinking in aerospace. Your participant will be exposed to the latest thinking not only by our faculty, but also by participants from throughout the entire industry.
Connecting With The Aerospace Industry’s Network
This is an opportunity for your best and brightest to form contacts with his or her counterparts in the rest of the industry. They will work together on team assignments, travel together, sweat through a high ropes course together, struggle through the tough times and laugh during the good times, and generally become classmates for life. This sort of networking is essential to any smoothly operating industry.
Solving Tough Value Stream Problems
With participants from across the entire value stream, we offer unique opportunities for teaming to solve cross-industry problems. We will pair your student with those from your customers’ and suppliers’ to tackle the sort of supply chain problems that just can’t be addressed by companies acting in isolation. These solutions can be the basis for lasting partnerships that extend well beyond the program and pay for the cost of the program many times over. This is an opportunity you simply will not see in other MBA programs. See examples of the payback such projects offer in The Business Case.
Cutting Edge Tools For Your Business
The focus of this program is not just on learning new tools and concepts, but on applying them at their home facility. Every student is expected to complete numerous assignments requiring applications of course material to problems or issues at work. In addition, each participant completes two major projects selected with your input to address pressing problems or opportunities facing your company. Our expectation is that the results of every participant’s field research will more than pay for the cost of the program in the first year, as described in The Business Case.
A New Business Leader
We are in the business of transforming solid engineers and functional experts into polished, effective, business leaders. At the first Residency Period, we will put your student through the most complete assessment process available. We will carefully evaluate the results and work with the individual to develop a Personal Development Plan. Then we will provide one-on-one coaching throughout the year to see that the participant is making good progress against the plan. You are just one year away from having another key player on your leadership team.
